What is the process of ordering a custom made wig? Firstly, we would invite you into our surgery at a convenient time to suit you. It would be useful to have a picture of a design that you have in mind. Most patients ask that the hair colour is an exact copy of their own. You may wish to change the hair colour. The next stage in preparing your custom made wig is to take an exact mould of your scalp. This is very much like the method used in taking a template for the non surgical hair replacement systems. How long does it take to make and fit the custom made wig? Once we have created the template and confirmed the style, length and colour, we sent the mould off to be custom made.
