Scalp Exfoliation We have a unique method of cleansing the afro scalp which removes much if not all of the dry flaky skin. This is a simple process conducted on site at our clinic. This involves washing the hair and physically removing the crusting / dandruff making the patient's scalp feel lighter and much more comfortable. Many of you would have a naturally dry scalp and hair and need to oil the scalp in order to try and maintain some sort of comfort. In truth you skin on the scalp is no different from that on your face. Would you cover your face with oil washing it maybe once a week? The answer is obviously no! You would as a matter of course wash the face once probably twice a day and apply a moisturising cream? So why should you treat the scalp any different? This is a common problem where the answer i get is "because washing our hair too much makes it dry" This is true. So what is the answer? With over 20 years of experience in this field i can offer a solution. It is important to note that there are many hair loss and scalp conditions that cause issues with the scalp. Some of which require treatment which differs depending on which condition you are suffering. Therefore offering products for you to buy now without seeing you may well flare up a scalp disease. In order for my team to advise on the correct exfoliation technique, i would need to see you in person to confirm there is no underlying condition or disease which is causing the problem. You will be able to speak with a trichologist in person first, or you can arrange a visit at a convenient time. The cost of consultation is £75.00 which includes your exfoliation treatment as well. Allow at least 1 &1/2 hours. Any follow up exfoliation treatments cost £42.50.
